Freshwater pearls are from rivers and lakes in Europe, Russia, China, Japan and America. They are available in an endless array of colour and shape. 

South sea pearls are the most prized of all pearls, for their size, rarity and unusual colours, found only in the areas of north-western Australia, Indonesia and Tahiti. Available in a multitude of colours; crisp white, light gold to deep gold hues, deep black to light greys tinged with pink, purple, blue, green and brown.
